The Lady and the Tramps: Take a trip with dear friends Liz Cracchiolo, Matthew Holter and Dennis Tamblyn as they use the “Great American Songbook” to spin a story of love, life and “The Lady and The Tramps.”
The “Great American Songbook” is the canon of the most important and influential American popular songs and jazz standards from the early 20th century that have stood the test of time in their life and legacy. Often referred to as: "American Standards", the songs published during the Golden Age of this genre include those popular and enduring tunes from the 1920s to the 1950s that were created for Broadway theatre, musical theatre, and Hollywood musical film. The Great American Songbook includes standards by George Gershwin, Cole Porter, Irving Berlin, Jerome Kern, Harold Arlen, Johnny Mercer, and Richard Rodgers, among others.

Bryan Zhang is a 14-year-old in the eighth grade at Esperero Canyon Middle School. Since the age of six, he has been studying piano with Dr. Kyungsun Choi. He has also been playing the violin since he was five, currently studying with Mr. Dennis Bourret, and he plays clarinet in the school band.
The program will contain selections from Bach, Beethoven, Chopin & Ravel.

The Latvian composer Ēriks Ešenvalds is at the forefront of contemporary choral composing. He has won multiple awards for his work, including the Latvian Great Music Prize, had his music performed at numerous international festivals, and has been frequently featured on CDs. He is in demand as a choral clinician and jury member.
Commissioned by Corky Gabbert in memory of Andrea Gabbert, a new mass setting by this renowned Latvian composer will receive its world premiere performance in the context of our Saint Philip’s Day liturgy! Join our choirs and chamber orchestra on a voyage of musical discovery!
